📋 Description

• Break down larger projects into individual tasks and deliver them in multiple phases • Collaborate with teammates to ensure timely delivery • Partner with product management, design and analytics during ideation and decision-making • Articulate technical constraints and evaluate risks and trade-offs • Create and monitor metrics for team artifacts • Escalate operational issues and support keep-the-lights-on and on-call efforts • Participate in growth and development activities, including interviews • Match with a team after completing the interview evaluation process

🎯 Requirements

• 1.5+ years of experience as a software engineer • Experience designing, developing and launching backend systems • Proficiency in Python or Kotlin • Familiarity with distributed systems, AWS, MySQL and Kubernetes • Ability to design solutions interacting with multiple software components • Ability to write clear, well-tested and extensible code • Comfort navigating large code bases and debugging others' code • Experience providing code review feedback • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
