📋 Description

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals for Agendia oncology services and products, including MammaPrint and BluePrint • Identify, target, educate, and manage hospital, pathology group, oncologist, and surgeon accounts in DC, Virginia, Maryland, and a small portion of Southern Delaware • Analyze territory prescribing and purchasing decision processes and differences from national trends • Drive new oncology business, maintain customer relationships, and exceed sales targets • Achieve sales forecasts and targets • Organize and facilitate meetings for medical and product information exchange in compliance with company, regulatory, and legal requirements • Represent Agendia at trade shows, company meetings, training programs, and other functions • Adapt call plans and business plans to changing work environments and objectives • Identify key physicians, healthcare providers, and organizations in the territory • Focus sales activity on high-revenue and high-volume opportunities, including community-based oncology and surgery practices • Support company sales strategy and foster a team environment • Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders • Communicate business opportunities and issues to the Regional Sales Director • Maintain customer and target databases in SFDC/Salesforce • Present at quarterly sales meetings • Collaborate with marketing on regional trends, competitive threats, and new testing opportunities • Follow Agendia health, safety, ethical, regulatory, and company policies • Reside in and travel independently throughout the assigned territory • Complete expense reports, call reports, communications, and other administrative duties accurately and on time • Provide test report orientation guidance at clinicians’ request without making specific patient management or treatment recommendations • Report to the Regional Sales Director and cooperate with all departments

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree highly desired • 3+ years of work experience in field sales in diagnostic, oncology, lab services, pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industry • Advanced knowledge of concepts and practices, with ability to apply them in diverse business situations • Experience completing and implementing attainable business plans • Ability to establish relationships with physicians, thought leaders, and relevant stakeholders • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding financial and/or quantitative targets and qualitative goals • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with organizational members, customers, and external contacts • Ability to travel with overnight stays and attend some weekend programs • Ability to translate scientific information about products, competitors, science, and the marketplace to oncology customers • Ability to reside in the assigned territory/geography • Ability to lift 30 pounds unassisted • Ability to work on a computer approximately 6–8 hours per day • Ability to travel up to 75% • Must not be an excluded individual prohibited from participating in any Federal health care program

🏖️ Benefits

• Inclusive starting compensation of $250,000 including base salary and commission • Salary of $130,000–$165,000 annually • Travel expenses/territory travel as required
