📋 Description

• Own product areas and end-to-end workflows that determine developer productivity • Understand developer journeys, identify breakdowns, and drive fixes across organizational boundaries • Define developer productivity at Airbnb and establish metrics, instrumentation, and qualitative research • Shape product roadmaps with business stakeholders, product marketing, and technical program managers • Create and own Product Requirements Documents and Business Requirements Documents • Partner with engineers, designers, data scientists, and field-operations teams to scale solutions • Establish product vision and northstar for the area • Map and improve developer workflows across infrastructure, reliability engineering, and developer experience • Partner with Engineering, Product, TPM, and Data Science to define success criteria and measurable objectives and key results • Develop product roadmaps and align prioritization and timelines with business goals • Influence teams without direct ownership to prioritize developer productivity work • Understand Airbnb engineering workflows and technical architecture • Execute efficiently to ship products and deliver business and user impact • Lead cross-functional groups and act as the system voice • Communicate concisely and influence outcomes at all organizational levels

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience building tools and platforms for technical users, including developer tooling, infrastructure, or platform products • Track record of improving developer or engineering productivity, with measurements to prove it • Experience defining and operationalizing metrics for hard-to-quantify outcomes • Strong understanding of technical architecture for complex and highly scalable systems • Understanding of modern AI-powered developer workflows, including AI-assisted development, code review, CI/CD, build systems, testing, and deployment • Ability to drive outcomes across organizational boundaries without direct authority • Ability to understand customer goals and needs and build products that meet them • Entrepreneurial drive and ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams • Ability to quickly absorb technical concepts and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical partners • Ability to prioritize and scope user requests and platform capabilities • Storytelling skills connecting problems to a compelling vision • Previous experience as a software engineer or working extremely closely with engineering teams is a strong plus • Familiarity with DORA, SPACE, or DevEx frameworks is a plus
