📋 Description

• Partner with leaders across business operations, product, analytics, data science, and Strategic Finance to build and grow Airbnb’s Membership program • Serve as the strategic finance and analytics lead for Membership • Help leadership decide where to invest, size programs, and determine which growth levers to scale • Become the subject matter expert on program economics, including guest and host behavior, costs, and returns • Define and build financial and analytical foundations for early-stage programs • Conduct analytical and financial deep dives to inform key decisions • Build investment business cases, size opportunities, model returns, and frame tradeoffs • Own performance measurement, including KPIs, goals, OKRs, reporting, and forecasting • Support annual planning, long-range planning, and monthly or quarterly forecasts • Develop and pressure-test program economics, including incentive and benefit costs, guest and host response, and incremental impact • Synthesize complex data into executive-ready narratives and recommendations • Influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive alignment on investment and operating decisions

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant finance and analytical experience across strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, strategy/management consulting, and/or business operations (ideally) • Superb financial modeling skills • Extensive quantitative and qualitative financial analysis experience, including business cases and ROI frameworks • High proficiency in business analytics • Ability to independently extract, analyze, and synthesize large datasets • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proven ability to influence cross-functional partners and drive alignment in fast-paced, ambiguous environments • High ownership, strong judgment, and attention to detail • AI proficiency or ability to become AI proficient using Claude or Gemini • Experience with growth strategies, ROI evaluation, and scalability of marketplaces, loyalty, incentive, or growth programs is a plus • Must live in a state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity
