📋 Description

• Partner with Enterprise Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to drive technical strategy and secure technical wins • Lead consultative technical discovery sessions and translate findings into technical solution strategies • Deliver tailored, value-based product demonstrations • Design and guide technical evaluations, proof of concepts, and pilot programs • Become a subject matter expert across the AlertMedia platform • Design solution approaches involving APIs, webhooks, authentication, data flows, integration patterns, and implementation considerations • Identify technical risks and develop solutions to remove adoption obstacles • Own technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, compliance discussions, and technical documentation • Communicate complex technical concepts to executive and technical stakeholders • Document technical best practices and improve presales processes • Partner with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing on customer feedback, competitive insights, and product enhancements • Stay current on industry trends, enterprise technology, and AlertMedia platform capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Pre-Sales Engineering experience supporting enterprise SaaS customers • Experience partnering with Enterprise Account Executives on complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles • Strong consultative problem-solving skills and ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions • Experience leading technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, proof of concepts, and technical evaluations • Strong technical fluency with REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, webhooks, SSO, SAML, OAuth, cloud applications, enterprise integrations, and modern SaaS architecture • Experience responding to RFPs, security reviews, and technical due diligence for enterprise customers • Experience leveraging AI tools for productivity, technical research, customer-facing deliverables, or presales workflows • Ability to communicate technical concepts to developers, architects, administrators, business users, and executive stakeholders • Excellent presentation and storytelling skills • Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously • Highly collaborative, customer-first mindset • Self-motivated and adaptable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment • Excellent analytical, attention-to-detail, written, and verbal communication skills • Austin, TX preferred; remote candidates must be based in the U.S. • AlertMedia does not sponsor candidates • Preferred: API testing tools such as Postman; technical documentation and specifications; enterprise security concepts, compliance frameworks, and technical evaluation or procurement processes • Basic scripting in JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, or similar is a plus
