📋 Description

• Investigate automobile accidents involving bodily injury • Assess coverage, liability, and damages • Provide customer service through voice calls, email, text messages, and sometimes video chat • Negotiate fair injury settlements with customers, vendors, third-party carriers, and claimants • Conduct liability investigations and make ultimate liability decisions • Identify injured parties beyond those listed at First Notice of Loss • Recognize impactful risk potential on claim files • Support claimants throughout the vehicle restoration process • Provide feedback on the Auto process • Collaborate with Casualty Adjusters throughout the claims process • Perform detailed damage reviews and interpret policies to determine coverage • Document claim work accurately and promptly in the claims system • Execute policies according to policy agreements • Attend and participate on camera during online meetings and trainings • Perform other related duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of claims handling experience • Claims investigation and negotiation experience preferred • Experience with liability investigations, investigating coverage, PD coverage, set MOI, rental, and resolving liability is a plus • Proficient communication skills, especially over the phone • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills • Must reside in the United States within one of the listed time zones • Position is not available to residents of California, Washington, Alaska, Hawaii, or Puerto Rico • Dedicated private workspace free from distractions • Minimum internet bandwidth of 50 MB down/5 MB up • Appropriate work surface and seating • Must submit to a background investigation • Applicable adjuster and/or appraiser license may be required within 60 days of hire • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position
