📋 Description

• Lead and build Google Cloud infrastructure for business strategies and requirements • Help influence strategy and execute engineering roadmaps around infrastructure as a service • Execute strategic engineering proof of concepts around infrastructure platforms • Champion engineering practices and help teams define and set up frameworks for infrastructure as code and automation • Troubleshoot availability and performance incidents, identify root causes, fix and document problems, and implement preventative measures • Co-lead postmortem activities to identify systemic solutions to improve platform operations • Recommend and improve technology-related policies and procedures • Evaluate new products and services, troubleshoot issues, manage blockers, automate processes, and drive continuous improvement efforts • Model paired programming and test-driven practices • No supervisory duties

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Cloud • Experience with Google Cloud networking components (Cloud Interconnect, Cloud DNS, routing) • Experience with Google AI products, Agent Platform, Cloud Storage, IAM, and Compute Engine • Experience in Terraform development • Experience with Generative and Agentic AI • Programming language: Python • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, including Tofu/Env0 tools • Required to submit to a background investigation • Allstate generally does not sponsor individuals for employment-based visas for this position • Dedicated, private workspace free from distractions when working from home • Appropriate desk and seating when working from home • Reliable internet with minimum speeds of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload
