📋 Description

• Build Ameresco's Medium Voltage Operations & Maintenance Department from the ground up • Lead phased hiring from an initial three-person crew to a 21-person department over five years • Develop SOPs, MOPs, JHAs, and quality management systems for medium voltage work • Transition medium voltage preventative and corrective maintenance from third-party contractors to internal crews • Manage preferred third-party MV contractors for surge capacity and specialty work • Serve as internal medium voltage subject matter expert and technical escalation point • Review subcontractor issues, testing reports, and deliverables and make repair-versus-replace recommendations • Oversee nationwide scheduling, dispatch, and execution of medium voltage PM and CM service requests • Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across crews and regions • Manage crew travel logistics and regional coverage optimization • Own department KPIs and maintain records in Ameresco's AssetPlanner CMMS • Identify, source, procure, and stock critical MV spare parts • Establish a zero-tolerance safety culture and conduct safety reviews and PPE/LOTO audits • Manage training roadmap, apprenticeship program, skills assessments, competency evaluations, succession plans, and mentoring • Own the annual operating budget and track third-party cost avoidance and net savings • Manage fleet, tooling, consumable budgets, vehicle procurement, and replacement planning • Participate in or oversee an on-call rotation for 24/7 emergency corrective maintenance response • Perform other duties assigned by the Senior Director of Operations

🎯 Requirements

• Experience, skills, education, certifications, and location may affect actual pay • Compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and site-specific safety and regulatory requirements • Current certifications, PPE compliance, and training requirements for all technicians • Availability for an on-call rotation supporting 24/7 emergency corrective maintenance, including weekends and holidays as needed • Ability to manage nationwide Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) operations • Medium voltage technical expertise, including review of DGA results, relay test reports, infrared scans, and cable test results • Ability to develop SOPs, MOPs, JHAs, and quality management systems • Ability to manage third-party MV subcontractors • Ability to manage budgets, fleet, tooling, consumables, and procurement • Ability to design and manage training and apprenticeship programs
