📋 Description

• Build Ameresco's Medium Voltage Operations & Maintenance Department from the ground up • Lead phased hiring from an initial three-person crew to a 21-person department over five years • Develop SOPs, MOPs, JHAs, and quality management systems for medium-voltage work • Internalize medium-voltage preventative and corrective maintenance currently performed by third-party contractors • Manage relationships and performance of third-party MV subcontractors retained for surge capacity and specialty work • Provide internal medium-voltage subject matter expertise and technical guidance • Review subcontractor issues, testing reports, and deliverables, and recommend repair, replacement, escalation, and corrective-action priorities • Oversee scheduling, dispatch, and nationwide execution of medium-voltage PM and CM service requests • Ensure safety and regulatory compliance across crews and regions • Manage crew travel logistics and regional coverage optimization • Own department KPIs and maintain work-order, inspection, finding, and recommendation records in AssetPlanner • Identify, source, procure, and stock critical MV spare parts and update IMS • Establish a zero-tolerance safety culture and conduct quarterly reviews and unannounced PPE and LOTO audits • Design and manage training, apprenticeship, skills assessment, competency evaluation, succession planning, and mentoring programs • Own the annual operating budget and track third-party cost avoidance and net savings • Manage fleet, tooling, consumable budgets, and vehicle procurement and replacement planning • Participate in or oversee an on-call rotation for 24/7 emergency corrective maintenance response • Perform other duties assigned by the Senior Director of Operations

• Experience, skills, education, certifications, and location may affect actual pay • Compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and site-specific safety and regulatory requirements • Current certifications, PPE compliance, and training requirements for all technicians • Availability to participate in an on-call rotation supporting 24/7 emergency corrective maintenance, including weekends and holidays as needed • Ability to manage nationwide medium-voltage operations across Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System portfolios • Ability to develop SOPs, MOPs, JHAs, and quality management systems for medium-voltage work • Ability to manage third-party medium-voltage subcontractors and evaluate technical deliverables • Ability to use Ameresco's CMMS platform, AssetPlanner • Ability to manage MV equipment inventories, spare parts, fleet, tooling, and consumable budgets • Ability to design training programs and oversee apprenticeship, skills assessment, and competency evaluation processes
