📋 Description

• Prepare work papers and perform tax research • Analyze tax notices and draft responses • Assist with tax planning and preparation of projections • Process client payroll • Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes • Prepare and assist clients with monthly bank reconciliations • Prepare and assist clients with journal entries and general ledger maintenance • Prepare clients' year-end trial balances • Prepare compiled financial statements and budgeting reports • Maintain fixed asset schedules and the chart of accounts • Prepare and review client sales tax returns • Prepare and review client annual 1099 informational returns • Process live client payroll accurately and timely • Prepare and review personal property declarations • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system and controls over accounting transactions • Provide tax compliance and consulting services to individuals, partnerships, corporations, and non-profits • Research tax topics of intermediate complexity • Assist in training and developing Business Accounting staff • Help develop, build, and manage client relationships

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent written and oral communication skills • Strong client service skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management • Ability to work autonomously • Strong organization skills • Detail-oriented with QuickBooks Online experience • Experience with Xero, NetSuite, Sage, or similar platforms is a plus • Proficient with MS Excel, Word, and Outlook • Familiarity with cloud-based software applications • High School diploma required • Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred • 6–8 years relevant experience • CPA is a plus • Authorized to work in the United States now and in the future without requiring sponsorship
