📋 Description

• Drive strategic supply network development and cost management of Anduril’s Counter Intrusion product portfolio across its lifecycles • Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams • Conduct supplier selection for a specific product using the approved supplier list • Partner with strategic suppliers to accelerate product development through concept scoping, feature trade-offs, should-cost/clean-sheet models, joint design development, and mechanical/electronics design simulation • Drive development and consolidation of the manufacturing BOM to ramp production internally and with suppliers • Manage CAPEX throughout NPI • Conduct value-stream mapping to optimize supply network lead time and flexibility • Complete BOM risk assessments, including alternate component sourcing • Ensure completion of component qualifications ahead of production • Reduce complexity through commonality optimization and component/supplier rationalization • Lead cost engineering activities to converge the bottoms-up cost curve to product cost and maximize total cost of ownership across the product lifecycle • Manage ad-hoc cost issues such as tariffs, import/export costs, and cost inflation

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field • 6+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices • Domain expertise of value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component & product level • Ability to travel 30% - 40% of the time, variable based on program needs • Preference is to be onsite at an Anduril office, but this role is open to remote in Washington • Master's degree or advanced technical degree in mechanical engineering preferred • Deeper experience in design and development of electronics and/or mechanical devices • Advanced sourcing activities, including stints as commodity/sourcing managers • Supplier development (technology, process, supply chain, etc.) • Early supplier engagement, ahead of product/engineering requirement realization • Familiarity with developing high-tech products in a high-mix, low-volume environment • Exposure to working in a fast-paced, start-up environment • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
