📋 Description

• File Medicare/Medicaid and other Third Party Cost Reports • Maximize cash flow through interim rates and final settlement • Complete patient assessments and formulate plans of care • Oversee, implement, evaluate, and adjust plans of care • Perform authorized nursing acts consistent with accepted nursing standards • Provide care, counseling, health teaching, and promotion using Teach Back methodology • Administer medication, intravenous therapy, and treatment as prescribed by a LIP • Supervise, delegate, and follow through with personnel performing nursing-care activities • Mentor and precept students and orient new staff as assigned • Report pertinent information through the chain of command • Participate in teams, committees, and performance-improvement initiatives • Ensure a safe and secure environment • Participate in discharge planning and transition of care • Advocate for patients and escalate concerns • Document pertinent findings in medical records • Assist patients with activities of daily living • Support personnel professional development • Use effective communication, active listening, and compassionate, empathetic practices • Practice SBAR handoffs and bedside shift reporting • Serve as a positive influence and role model while adhering to professional conduct • Respect patient dignity and confidentiality • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• B.S. Degree in accounting • Minimum of 2 years of experience in preparation of Medicare/Medicaid cost reports
