• Develop and own Federal positioning, value propositions, personas and messaging for AppGate ZTNA, aligned to government Zero Trust mandates and frameworks. • Partner with solutions engineering on RFPs, RFIs, RFQs and sources-sought responses; contribute technical and marketing content and maintain a reusable response library. • Map AppGate capabilities to government compliance and security controls and translate them into evaluation and justification content. • Plan and execute product launches and campaigns, including launch plans, sales playbooks, collateral and cross-functional enablement. • Build and update Federal sales enablement assets and train Federal sales, solutions engineering and field marketing teams. • Create technical, customer-facing content for government audiences, including whitepapers, solution briefs, reference architectures, capability statements, one-pagers, website copy, blog posts and webinar materials. • Support channel and ecosystem go-to-market with systems integrators, federal resellers and contract vehicle holders. • Conduct competitive analysis for the Federal market and provide actionable intelligence to product, sales and demand teams. • Partner with demand generation and customer reference programs on Federal campaigns, events and thought leadership. • Track policy, budget, mandate, agency Zero Trust, customer and analyst developments to guide positioning and roadmap input.
• 4–7 years of product marketing experience (or combined product marketing, technical marketing, solutions engineering or product management experience), ideally supporting B2B enterprise security products. • Direct experience marketing or selling to Federal, DoD and/or State & Local government is strongly preferred. • Hands-on familiarity with government RFP/RFI processes and experience supporting proposal teams. • Working knowledge of government Zero Trust and cybersecurity frameworks, including DoD ZT Strategy, CISA ZTMM, NIST SP 800-207 and 800-53, CMMC, FedRAMP and TIC 3.0. • Strong technical aptitude in networking, identity and access, and cloud security, with the ability to speak credibly with engineers, architects and security leaders. • Excellent writing and storytelling skills, able to create crisp, technical-to-mission messaging and sales-facing content. • Proven experience launching products and equipping sales with effective playbooks and assets. • Experience tracking content performance, win rates and go-to-market metrics. • U.S. citizenship required. • An active security clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain one, is preferred. • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
