📋 Description

• Support accounting operations across accounts payable, customer refunds, account reconciliations, internal controls, and month-end close activities • Partner with Accounting, IT, and operational teams to ensure accurate and timely financial processes • Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal policies • Manage vendor setup, payable operations, payment processing, and tax documentation • Manage vendor payments and customer refunds through banking partners • Implement and maintain review controls and compliance requirements for customer refund payments • Monitor customer overpayment automation, escalate issues, and partner with IT teams on resolutions • Design, implement, and review balance sheet account reconciliations • Perform month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliation reviews, trial balance, and variance reviews • Evaluate financial risks and design controls to mitigate identified risks • Collaborate with Accounting Operations, Accounting and Reporting, and offshore account reconciliation teams • Develop and maintain expense reporting processes and support T&E policy compliance • Research accounting treatment for new business transactions as needed • Identify, implement, and manage process improvements supporting legal and regulatory compliance • Perform other duties assigned by Accounting Operations Management

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or commensurate work experience required • CPA required • 4 years of progressive experience in accounting required • 2 years of public accounting and/or internal controls experience preferred • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with large data sets • Strong reasoning, analytical, and critical-thinking skills • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage expectations in a fast-paced environment • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to sit for long periods of time and work on a computer approximately 90% of the time • May occasionally lift, push, or pull up to 20 pounds
