📋 Description

• Own the technical customer relationship as the primary professional services contact across discovery, design, pilot, production, and expansion • Run discovery to identify high-value AI use cases and qualify them against business outcomes • Design target architectures on Arango’s multi-model platform, including graph models, AQL patterns, and GraphRAG retrieval • Define success criteria, SLAs/SLOs, governance requirements, and phased delivery plans • Build reference implementations and prototypes including graph schemas, connectors, GraphRAG pipelines, APIs, and agent orchestration • Guide secure, observable production deployments with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and testing • Architect graph, vector, and hybrid retrieval; chunking, embeddings, ranking, caching, and tool/agent calls • Establish evaluation practices using offline and online metrics and A/B tests • Design ETL/ELT pipelines, vector indices, graph ingestion, and metadata governance • Define monitoring and alerting for quality, drift, hallucinations, latency, cost, and guardrail events • Architect access controls, secrets management, audit logging, PII redaction, and content safety controls • Address SOC 2/ISO 27001, GDPR/CCPA, and applicable HIPAA requirements • Produce architecture documentation and runbooks; train customer engineers and end users • Represent customer needs to Arango product and engineering teams and influence the roadmap

🎯 Requirements

• Deep graph knowledge; hands-on expertise in graph data modeling, graph query and traversal (AQL, Cypher, or Gremlin), graph algorithms, and knowledge-graph design for AI • Direct experience building GraphRAG or knowledge-graph-backed retrieval for LLM applications • 3+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, or technical professional services, including building and operating production systems • Strong applied AI and Python skills • Solid grasp of data structures, systems design, concurrency, and networking • Strong database skills across graph, NoSQL, key-value, and document models • Hands-on experience with modern LLMs and tooling, including OpenAI, Anthropic, Llama, Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex, and function/tool calling • Experience with retrieval and vector databases such as FAISS, pgvector, Pinecone, or Weaviate, and hybrid graph/vector retrieval • Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure; Docker/Kubernetes; infrastructure as code; and CI/CD • Experience with observability and performance tuning for latency-sensitive services • Excellent customer-facing communication and ability to lead technical conversations from executive to engineering levels • Open to international travel • Nice-to-have qualifications include direct ArangoDB or production graph database experience, search and information retrieval fundamentals, TypeScript/React or Next.js, MLOps and evaluation frameworks, model adaptation and inference optimization, relevant domain experience, security/compliance familiarity, and French government or industry experience
