📋 Description

• Lead the curriculum and instruction, course design and development, and experiential learning teams • Facilitate college-wide quality assurance and continuous improvement in the BSN curriculum and experiential learning • Develop and maintain an annual strategic plan for curriculum and learning • Provide strategic direction and thought leadership for academic, educational, and programmatic initiatives • Ensure academic programs comply with accreditation and regulatory requirements, including maintaining records and providing reports • Provide academic leadership and oversight of the BSN curriculum, educational technologies, and experiential learning • Review and revise curriculum and procedures to advance inclusion, equity, and diversity • Guide strategic curriculum development, implementation, and continuous quality improvement • Promote student learning through educational technology, experiential learning, and effective course resources • Oversee mapping curriculum and content to AACN BSN Essentials, ANA Scope and Standards of Practice, NCLEX test plan, and other required standards • Support LMS course design and improve courses and curricula using evaluation and quality data • Ensure simulation-based education develops critical thinking and clinical judgment • Develop standardized laboratory, clinical, and simulation processes for instruction, remediation, and learning-outcome evaluation • Ensure ongoing education sessions on simulation design, facilitation, and evaluation • Oversee instructional vendors and cost effectiveness of pedagogically sound materials • Ensure compliance with applicable academic regulatory and accreditation standards • Manage CCNE accreditation Standard III in collaboration with the Associate Vice President, Assessment and Development • Mentor Deans of Nursing and Deans of General Education on academic affairs and leadership effectiveness • Collaborate with Academic Affairs leadership and key stakeholders to support academic outcomes and student success

🎯 Requirements

• Doctorate degree in Nursing, or a master’s degree in Nursing and a doctorate in a related field • 5 years of progressive leadership experience in nursing education, including curriculum development, systematic program evaluation, simulation, and academic affairs, or equivalent combination of skills and experience • Current unencumbered registered nurse license • Ability to translate vision and strategy into actions and results • Ability to build valued external stakeholder and internal leader relationships across a complex, highly matrixed organization • Excellent project management skills • Educational technology experience and knowledge • Proven track record in BSN-level education is nice to have
