📋 Description

• Manage long-term IT projects and complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints • Develop and implement long-term IT roadmaps and strategy • Monitor alignment of tactical activities • Provide an enterprise-level view of activities and impacts on information-sharing initiatives • Perform risk management, including identifying, prioritizing, mitigating, communicating, and escalating risks and issues • Manage projects across varying types, sizes, complexities, life-cycle phases, and development methods such as SCRUM and spiral • Support development of briefings, agendas, documentation, training materials, and technology demonstrations for DHS stakeholders • Support continuous improvement by recommending improvements to products, services, and processes • Develop communication plans • Develop and manage project schedules, including integrated project schedules, using Microsoft Project and JIRA • Manage projects within government-defined schedules, budgets, and requirements • Ensure delivery of Agile development artifacts, including sprint, product, and release backlogs, burndowns/ups, team velocity, and RTM

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field • Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in information systems development and/or project management, including managing projects from inception through deployment • Demonstrated experience managing a team of technical employees • Must be a US citizen to meet contract requirements • Ability to successfully complete a DHS background investigation • Flexibility to travel to the customer site when necessary • Offer is contingent upon award of contract to ASRC Federal NetCentric
