📋 Description

• Lead the design and development of scalable, high-quality software solutions aligned with business goals and technical strategy • Own complex features and projects from planning through implementation, testing, and deployment • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliver projects • Contribute to architectural discussions and decisions with principal engineers and architects • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers • Conduct and lead code reviews • Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues and contribute to root-cause analysis • Participate in Agile SDLC activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives • Coordinate technical efforts, timelines, and deliverables as an occasional project lead • Apply health plan operations and related-systems domain knowledge to technical decisions • Participate in the on-call rotation to support critical software systems and production stability

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, Go, or TypeScript • Deep understanding of relational and non-relational databases, including complex query optimization and data modeling • Expert-level experience with Git and source control workflows • Proficiency configuring and optimizing development environments and tooling • Strong experience designing and integrating web services and APIs, including RESTful and event-driven architectures • Comfortable working in Linux-based environments • Deep understanding of Agile methodologies and the full SDLC • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI • Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes • Strong grasp of secure coding, performance optimization, and system reliability principles • Experience mentoring junior and mid-level engineers • Experience contributing to or influencing architectural decisions • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong collaboration, initiative, autonomy, feedback, analytical, and problem-solving abilities • Preferred: experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP; React or Next.js; CSS/SASS, Material UI, or Bootstrap; JUnit, Jest, Mocha, or Playwright; HIPAA, PHI, and IIHI; regulated industries or sensitive data
