📋 Description

• Support multiple facilities and/or customers in a strategic geographic area • Perform the job functions of Coordinators, Technicians, Material Handlers, and Glass Washers during vacations, leave, and emergency situations • Act as a backup to other territories and travel outside the designated territory as needed • Coordinate and lead team efforts and perform work related to customer requirements • Work with management on Standard Operating Procedures, Scopes of Work, Standard Work, On-the-Job Training, and other tasks • Interface directly with customer points of contact, purchasing directors, facility directors, and plant managers • Procure lab supplies and materials • Utilize Avantor and customer systems including SAP, Inventory Manager, Chemical Manager, and customer-specific applications • Train Avantor Lab and Production Services associates on service offerings • Provide SAP support, including customer services, credit rebills, and invoice scrubbing • Modify and maintain quality metrics and key performance indicators • Manage a budget related to expense reports • Meet revenue, TOE, safety, performance, and quality goals and objectives • Create programs for enhanced service efficiencies • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required • 3+ years of experience in inventory control, procurement, shipping and receiving, inside sales, etc., a plus • Microsoft Suite experience • Overnight travel is required • Ability to use own vehicle and fly when traveling farther • Must be fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 for sites where coverage is provided • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Previous experience working in a GMP facility is strongly desired • Strong communication skills • Knowledge of Information Access and System ESS • A valid driver's license is required • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines • Ability to travel between multiple locations in the San Francisco area • Cross-referencing and inside sales experience are a plus • Forklift Certification is a plus • Prior experience with VWR/Avantor products and services is a plus • IATA, DOT, OSHA Right to Know, and IMDG knowledge is a plus • Associates degree or undergraduate degree in a business or science-related field is a plus • A CDL is a plus, not a requirement
