📋 Description

• Build and improve agents that generate test coverage, diagnose failures, and monitor systems • Own quality end to end, including test strategy, automated coverage, exploratory testing, live-system monitoring, and release readiness decisions • Write test plans for features before implementation • Review agent-generated test suites and verify that assertions prove the claimed behavior • Perform exploratory testing to identify unspecified edge cases • Improve agent harnesses to reduce flaky waits • Diagnose pipeline failures, including staging-specific failures • Document failure causes, test plans, failures, and sign-offs • Investigate root causes and fix broken QA processes • Work independently from project start to finish and escalate issues early • Communicate proactively and support more junior QA engineers on testing platforms and procedures

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in QA or test automation in an Agile environment • Hands-on experience building test automation frameworks • API testing with Python using pytest, unittest, or a comparable framework • UI testing with Cypress and TypeScript • Knowledge of stable selectors and reliable page objects • Demonstrated use of AI development tools and coding assistants for producing, reviewing, or maintaining tests • Ability to evaluate AI-generated output critically • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, ideally GitHub Actions • Exploratory testing skills • Experience with Docker and containerized environments • Experience with Git and modern version control workflows • API tooling experience such as Postman or curl • Working experience with AWS services in a testing or deployment context • Knowledge of requirement traceability, boundary value analysis, application stability, and usability testing • Strong written communication • Ability to work self-directed in a deadline-driven environment • Willingness to help junior QA engineers • Preferred: agent building, LLM output evaluation, agentic or AI-assisted codebase testing, observability, Kubernetes, performance/load/security testing, remote-first asynchronous culture, email or marketing SaaS, web platforms, backend services at scale, and Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
