📋 Description

• Provide analytical support for the financial positioning and future growth of assigned area or region • Lead development, analysis, and preparation of financial plans, reporting, and key performance indicators • Analyze and interpret complex financial data for leadership decision support • Gather and challenge assumptions from multidisciplinary teams • Develop financial pro formas • Assist with preparation and presentation of business plans • Lead financial processes including operating budgets, forecasting, program reporting and analysis, charge management, cost accounting, decision support, contracting, and reimbursement analysis • Ensure regulatory and contractual compliance within assigned business units • Identify and implement operating improvements and efficiencies through trend and variance analysis • Guide process changes based on data and provide strategic financial guidance • Coordinate implementation and support for financial-system software products • Develop and present financial indicators and education programs • Prepare accurate and timely management and regulatory reports • Develop meaningful performance measures • Provide financial analysis support for multiple facilities when assigned regional accountability • Interact with regulatory agencies, Information Services, Benefits, Finance, and Human Resources

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent experience • 7+ years of experience in financial management • Ability to work with minimal supervision and prioritize multiple projects • Excellent human relations skills • Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of staff and outside professionals • Proficiency in sophisticated software programs • Proven advanced analytical and modeling skills • Operational skills and knowledge in healthcare • Strong leadership and confidence • Ability to read and understand technical pronouncements • Ability to identify compliance issues and make independent decisions • Previous supervisory/team leadership experience preferred • Master of Business Administration (MBA) preferred • Experience in healthcare financial management preferred • Additional related education and/or experience preferred
