📋 Description

• Build and support Banner Health’s Kubernetes and containerization platform • Write Terraform to extend Amazon EKS modules • Maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions and ArgoCD • Manage cluster and gateway upgrades • Tune platform performance and cost • Onboard application teams onto the platform and self-service capabilities • Participate in design and architecture reviews • Write runbooks and documentation • Partner with security, networking, and application engineering teams • Participate in an on-call rotation supporting the platform • Lead project teams analyzing, designing, configuring, implementing, and supporting PaaS solutions • Resolve application and configuration issues and provide ongoing performance analysis • Implement approved changes and ensure continual service improvements • Architect cloud services spanning storage, security, networking, and compute • Support, deploy, and monitor production applications • Develop tools to automate production support activities • Lead mission-critical applications and platforms while maintaining availability, security, performance, and stability

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on production Kubernetes experience • Strong infrastructure-as-code skills in Terraform • Scripting ability in Python, Go, or Bash • Familiarity with AWS • Automation-first mindset • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working knowledge • Eight to twelve years’ work experience developing Enterprise Applications • In-depth knowledge of concepts within the job function • Strong knowledge of programming and cloud technology • Experience in medium-scale project planning • Ability to mentor less experienced team members • Strong communication and presentation skills for explaining complex technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to influence and interact across facilities and organizational levels • Ability to work variable shifts and hours and carry/respond to a pager when required • Preferred cloud platform certifications: AZ-301, AZ-400, and AZ-500 • Significant development and operations/engineering experience • Three to four years’ experience implementing Enterprise Cloud Solutions • Strong working knowledge of Java, C++, C#, .NET Core, hardware environments, and program logic
