📋 Description

• Lead enterprise-scale, multi-domain healthcare solution design across Azure, AWS, and hybrid environments • Architect AI/ML-powered applications for predictive analytics, clinical decision support, and operational efficiency • Define and enforce architecture governance covering HIPAA, HITECH, PCI, NIST 800-53, and internal security standards • Develop cloud adoption roadmaps, including Azure Landing Zones, AWS Landing Zones, and hybrid connectivity • Evaluate and select vendor solutions based on innovation, cost, compliance, and operational readiness • Create and maintain architectural artifacts, archetypes, reference architectures, and capability roadmaps • Provide thought leadership in AI ethics, data governance, and healthcare-specific deployment strategies • Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, executives, clinicians, IT leaders, senior leadership, stakeholders, and vendor partners • Mentor junior staff and architects or engineers • Align technology strategies with Banner Health’s mission and strategic business goals • Deliver architectures, strategies, and guidance that enhance patient outcomes and operational performance

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience • 10 years of progressive IT experience in development, infrastructure, or systems analysis • 4+ years of solution or enterprise architecture experience • Must obtain one or more specified certifications within one year of hire: Microsoft Certified Azure Solution Architect Expert, AWS Certified Solution Architect Professional, Google Professional Cloud Architect, TOGAF Certified Architect, or ITIL Intermediate • Proven experience in cloud-based healthcare solutions, including AI/ML deployments • Strong understanding of healthcare compliance, interoperability, and security • Preferred: 5+ years of experience in healthcare or a regulated industry • Preferred: 5+ years of experience designing solutions utilizing AI components • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) • Proven mentorship of junior architects or engineers • Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified Cybersecurity Architect Expert, AWS Certified Machine Learning Specialty, Salesforce Certified Technical Architect • Additional related education and/or experience preferred • Must live in one of the listed states: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin, West Virginia, or Wyoming • Monday through Friday during normal business hours
