📋 Description

• Provide subject matter expertise on cloud architecture and cloud infrastructure engineering to IT and business teams • Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, Software Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to operationalize DevOps processes and tools • Translate technical requirements into business requirements and communicate risks to stakeholders from business leaders to engineers • Create high-level and low-level design diagrams and workflows • Present architecture and designs to senior leadership and technical teams • Work with Reliability Engineering teams to implement cloud-specific monitoring tools • Lead work through design, implementation, cutover, hyper care, and operational transition • Participate in problem solving, troubleshooting, and level 3 engineering support for infrastructure and applications • Develop target-state architectures and define enterprise platform strategies for scalable, secure, business-aligned cloud and AI solutions • Guide product and engineering teams in cloud and AI solution delivery

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent years of experience • 8 years of infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, and software engineering experience • Experience with cloud engineering and establishing enterprise-level cloud strategy and architecture • Experience leading large-scale Azure, AWS, and GCP migrations • Experience delivering Azure Cloud projects with responsibility for deliverables, technical and architecture oversight, delivery approach, and performance • Experience with automation and development best practices for cloud application modernization • Experience with enterprise network design, including segmentation models, encryption, logging, and monitoring • Experience with firewalls, network authentication controls, and Linux/Windows operating systems • Experience with Splunk, New Relic, Logstash, CloudTrail, or similar logging and monitoring tools • Deep understanding of Azure and/or required AWS experience • Strong knowledge of CI/CD practices, infrastructure automation, and application build and deployment automation • Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for container-based images and Kubernetes-based services • Knowledge of DNS/DDI and network management • Knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools • Understanding of cloud security architectures for cloud/hybrid systems • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, presentation, architectural articulation, and leadership skills • Ability to work with teams with varying levels of technical backgrounds and experience • Sponsorship is not available • Candidates must not live in California, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, or New York for remote hiring
