📋 Description

• Establish and maintain credible peer-to-peer scientific relationships with national/regional key opinion leaders and customers • Implement strategic, scientific, and educational initiatives to achieve Medical and Commercial objectives • Serve as the primary resource for clinical and scientific information for external healthcare professionals • Support product areas including antiseptic products, biosurgery, hair removal, ChloraPrep, and surgical irrigation • Develop education and training programs to improve patient outcomes and understanding of breast surgery and treatment options • Collaborate with BD sales consultants and representatives to execute educational presentations and objectives • Engage customer segments through one-on-one interactions, small group discussions, formulary review committees, and educational symposia • Attend scientific and medical congresses, capture relevant information, and report it to internal stakeholders • Facilitate KOL involvement in advisory boards, investigator meetings, educational symposia, and sponsored promotional programs • Assist in identifying investigators and sites for company-sponsored clinical trials • Maintain detailed knowledge of the organization, products, scientific research, and publications • Deploy proactive and reactive stakeholder engagement tactics • Use in-person and virtual meetings, collaborative research, educational events, congresses, and digital platforms • Collect, document, and communicate stakeholder insights to internal teams • Maintain compliance and ethical separation between scientific engagement and promotional activity • Track engagement activities, assess impact, and adapt tactics • Foster long-term relationships with stakeholders as a scientific expert • Perform additional duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required • MD, PharmD, PhD, PA or RN with clinical experience preferred • 3-5 years of field-based MSL experience and/or 3-5 years of work experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical industry required • Clinical experience in surgery space desired • Ability to present approved scientific data to HCPs in group and individual settings • Ability to interpret complicated clinical and pre-clinical data • Ability to adjust communication for multiple communication styles • Ability to identify unmet medical, educational, and research needs • Knowledge of the US healthcare system and pharmaceutical/medical device industry • Knowledge of OIG, FDA, ACCME, and PhRMA laws, regulations, and ethical standards • Knowledge of clinical trial design and process • Understanding of medical practice and clinical decision-making regarding intraoperative surgical care • Ability to develop trust and integrity with US and worldwide BD Medical Affairs and Commercial organizations • Willingness and ability to travel 75%, including overnight stays • Completion of Training Program Code 290069 • For certain roles, employment may be contingent upon proof of full COVID-19 vaccination
