📋 Description

• Execute technical development and operational tasks for company technology-based products supporting Energy-as-a-Service and Integrated Solutions • Contribute as an individual contributor on an agile software development team • Collaborate with scrum master, product owner, internal developers, external consultants, and technical and non-technical stakeholders • Complete software development tasks independently or in a self-directed manner • Follow development policies and procedures covering testing, quality control, coding, and documentation • Contribute to maintenance and operation of company technology products • Engage with internal and external customers • Participate in non-software engineering projects to understand software product use and value • Develop systems for collecting, computing, and storing energy and telemetry data within the Connect platform • Leverage IoT, data science, machine learning, cloud, and front-end user interface technologies

🎯 Requirements

• BS in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience • 5+ years of experience working on a professional software development team • Willingness to learn the basics of different Energy-as-a-Service business fields • Strong technical and analytical skills • Good communication skills and willingness to improve • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a rapidly changing environment • Desire to continually grow and develop professionally • Proficiency with multiple technologies and languages • Experience with agile software development processes • Proficiency with source code management systems such as Git • Experience with software quality control, including unit testing • Experience developing single-page web applications using Angular 2+ • Experience with agile management tools such as Azure DevOps • Experience with C# • Experience with Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and other scripting languages • Preferred: MS in Computer Science or related field • Preferred: experience developing with Microsoft Azure • Preferred: experience deploying to critical production environments • Preferred: experience setting up and deploying code using CI/CD pipelines • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer • Ability to climb stairs • Ability to remain stationary, often kneeling, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods • Ability to perform repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions • Ability to work in a quiet environment • Ability to perform light work involving moving objects up to 20 pounds • Ability to travel 25% of the time to job sites/office locations
