📋 Description

• Build and scale Go services powering agent quoting, configuration, and application-submission tools used before checkout • Partner closely with the App & Checkout teams • Propose architectural direction and provide architectural leadership • Resolve partner-specific edge cases as distribution partners and volume scale • Write unit and integration tests for shipped code • Peer review code from other team members • Use AI coding tools as a default part of the daily workflow • Transfer knowledge to a team with a high contractor ratio and limited dedicated onboarding structure • Encourage automation, CI/CD, and continuous improvement across the team

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional backend software development experience • Professional experience with Go; comfortable owning services end to end • Experience with distributed systems or microservices • Experience designing APIs, including REST, gRPC, OpenAPI, and Protocol Buffers • Experience using Docker for local development • Experience with CI/CD as a default practice • Demonstrated day-to-day fluency using AI tools such as Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, and ChatGPT in real engineering work • Ability to step into architectural or mentorship gaps without needing a formal title • Must reside in the contiguous 48 states of the United States • Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship requirements must be disclosed
