📋 Description

• Own Pave end to end, including benchmark configuration, compensation cycle setup, and data integrity between BambooHR and Pave • Manage the Total Rewards Assessment and Roadmap • Audit compensation and benefits philosophy, market positioning, and tooling • Maintain and refresh salary bands using a consistent benchmarking philosophy • Review and resolve flagged salary-band outliers by job family • Partner on job leveling and support a standardized leveling process • Own the bi-annual merit, promotion, and bonus cycle design and execution in Pave • Partner with Finance on compensation-cycle budgets and approval workflows • Maintain an up-to-date equity database with Legal and Finance • Manage the overall equity program, including market benchmarking, equity analytics, and refresh and promotion equity cycles • Assess geographic pay ranges as the workforce becomes more distributed • Own benefits strategy, including annual renewal strategy, plan design changes, and evaluation of new offerings • Partner with the benefits broker • Build the Total Rewards function and establish its infrastructure while balancing strategy with hands-on execution

🎯 Requirements

• 5-8+ years in compensation, total rewards, or a closely related HR discipline • Direct experience with equity administration at a venture-backed or newly-public company • Experience in or time spent in people operations ideally • Hands-on experience with a compensation benchmarking/planning platform such as Pave, Radford, or similar • Experience running end-to-end merit/compensation cycles • Direct experience managing equity programs, including grant sizing methodology, equity analysis, and refresh/retention programs • Experience with Carta or similar cap table tools • Experience preparing board/compensation committee-facing materials • Benefits strategy experience, including renewals, broker management, and plan design decisions • Advanced Excel and analysis skills • Ability to build and defend a compensation model from first principles • Excellent cross-functional partnership skills • Ability to translate technical compensation/equity concepts for managers and employees • Experience standing up a Total Rewards function from scratch at a similarly sized company (~100-250 employees) is a bonus • Familiarity with job architecture/leveling framework design is a bonus • Insurance, fintech, or regulated-industry experience is a bonus • Must reside in the contiguous 48 states of the United States • Must be legally authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship requirements are addressed in the application
