📋 Description

• Develop a roadmap for the evolution of SSEG functions to keep the organization future-ready • Identify key capabilities and tools and partner with stakeholders to ensure execution • Evaluate vendor platforms and solutions against key capabilities and financial targets • Work with the leadership team to develop a department scorecard and KPIs • Optimize resource utilization and manage internal/external resource ratios • Maintain ownership of critical skills while leveraging outsourcing for routine tasks and dynamic demand • Partner with leadership, Finance, and Procurement on vendor strategy • Lead annual planning cycle efforts, including annual AOP planning • Work with Finance and matrix partners to plan and achieve budget • Drive ad hoc strategic projects, owning dashboards, timelines, and project management • Serve as a trusted strategic partner to the Head of SSEG • Highlight business-critical risks and opportunities and oversee critical organizational, financial, and operational activities • Manage information and key-decision flow within SSEG and across functions • Manage strategic meetings and communications, including presentations and memos for enterprise leaders • Manage 1–2 direct reports, including FTEs and vendors • Report directly to the VP, Head of SSEG • Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives and continuous operational improvement

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA required • MS/MBA/PhD preferred • Minimum 7 years of senior leadership and project management experience • Leadership experience as part of a data analytics organization is a plus • Excellent written and oral storytelling and communication skills, particularly distilling complex or broad topics into executive-level strategic communications • Data- and metrics-driven, with ability to drive creativity and rigor in KPIs • Strong data analysis and budget management acumen • Ability to lead and influence in a matrix and cultivate strong internal/external networks • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills • Strong knowledge of project management techniques • Current, strong knowledge of AI tools to drive efficiency • Good knowledge of analytics technologies, including Power BI, SAS, R, and Shiny • Good knowledge of clinical trial data and processes • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment • Ability to lead a team with decisiveness to solve complex problems • Good leadership and influence skills to lead without authority across multiple levels of the business • Ability to establish effective business relationships with internal and external stakeholders • Excellent verbal and written communication/presentation skills • Experience defining, documenting, and developing business processes in a pharmaceutical or similarly regulated environment • PMP/Scrum Master or Six Sigma certification is a plus
