• Facilitate growth for the Bank through business development and management of key client relationships • Generate revenue through sales and syndications • Act as an escalation point for complex client issues and resolve conflicts • Structure complex deals and secure credit approvals • Develop new business through prospecting, client outreach, and cross-selling credit, trust/investment, and cash management products • Review loan applications and cash management service agreements • Develop market strategies, identify opportunities, and expand client portfolios • Identify market segments and leverage industry trends to drive growth • Represent the bank at industry forums and conferences • Engage senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align strategies and address client needs • Prepare reports on team performance, client satisfaction, and market trends • Build and maintain relationships with high-value and strategic clients • Negotiate high-value transactions and identify share-of-wallet opportunities • Analyze market trends, client industry developments, and competitive positioning • Work with internal teams to define client-fit products, solutions, and strategies • Nurture and grow a portfolio exceeding ROE thresholds and evaluate client returns • Ensure regulatory, internal-control, and compliance adherence while mitigating risk • Provide specialized consulting, analytical, and technical support • Independently handle non-routine situations and solve problems within applicable rules
• 7+ years of relevant experience in Relationship Management, Account Management or Portfolio Management in a corporate or similar segmented banking environment with sales metrics is preferred • Bachelor’s degree required; Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred • Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience • Advanced proficiency in Product Knowledge, Regulatory Compliance, Structuring Deals, Portfolio Management, Credit Risk Assessment, Project Management, Customer Service, Problem Solving, Negotiation, and Customer Relationship Building • Expert proficiency in Financial Analysis • Ability to adhere to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and compliance policies • Ability to apply the Risk Management Framework, Risk Culture, and approved Risk Appetite • Ability to make sound, risk-informed decisions aligned with business strategy, policies, laws, and regulations
