📋 Description

• Direct implementation, deployment, and maintenance of vehicle management software systems • Advise and partner with cross-functional engineering teams on requirements and specifications • Provide technical leadership for software development and integration of externally developed functions • Consult on test plans and test cases for software validation • Direct verification, validation, and system integration activities • Provide technical guidance during system-level design and architecture activities • Direct investigation and resolution of software issues • Direct development and maintenance of software documentation, including design documents, user manuals, and technical specifications • Influence research, evaluation, and adoption of emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and development methods • Advise management on technical and programmatic vehicle management software topics • Mentor engineering peers and support mission-critical aerospace capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree • 18+ years of experience designing and developing software for a real-time or non-real-time system • 18+ years of experience in software development using C/C++ or Java/Python scripting • Ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance after starting • U.S. Citizenship required for the security clearance • U.S. Person status required for U.S. export-control compliance • Experience with the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis through Formal Qualification • Experience using GitLab, Bitbucket, JIRA, and Confluence • Experience in embedded real-time software development • Experience automating software builds, unit tests, and integration tests using a DevOps toolchain • Experience speaking at formal program events such as PDR, CDR, and QPMR • Must complete a technical CodeVue coding assessment • Must meet U.S. export-control compliance requirements • Employer will not sponsor employment visas • Must be able to work Shift 1 (United States of America)
