📋 Description

• Own retention and engagement outcomes for PlannerPlus; define the metrics framework, identify root causes of churn, and address them in the product • Design rituals and return moments that turn a one-time plan into a planning habit • Simplify sophisticated planning capabilities, including Roth conversions and withdrawal strategies, for first-time planners • Spend time with subscribers across ages, incomes, and financial-literacy levels to shape the roadmap • Run disciplined experiments and cohort analyses • Make retention a company-wide capability by sharing strategy, data, and wins • First 90 days: learn the product, data, and subscribers; ship the first experiment; publish the retention metrics framework • By month 6: own a prioritized retention roadmap tied to root causes, with early wins shipped and measured • By month 12: improve retention, launch engagement rituals, and become the company resource on subscriber retention

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of B2C product management experience, including direct ownership of retention, engagement, or lifecycle outcomes for a subscription product • Fluency in subscription economics, including cohorts, LTV, and payback • Ability to design experiments, pull your own data, and evaluate whether results are real • Experience making complex or expert-domain products accessible to mainstream audiences (preferred) • Background in fintech or alongside CFPs/advisors (preferred) • Fluency with modern AI tools (preferred) • Empathy for people who don't think about money all day and respect for the emotional nature of financial decisions • Genuine interest in personal finance and retirement planning
