📋 Description

• Build and maintain services and RESTful APIs powering the credit card and payments platform • Work across the full stack, including backend services, databases, and partner and internal interfaces • Work with MySQL databases, JSON data structures, and third-party API integrations across banking and payment network connections • Investigate and resolve bugs in existing systems • Collaborate with senior engineers and product leads on feature development and technical design discussions • Explore and experiment with emerging tools and approaches, sharing learnings with the team • Support the team wherever needed and contribute to solutions regardless of role or seniority

🎯 Requirements

• 1–2 years of hands-on development experience; internships, co-ops, and personal projects count • Solid understanding of SQL and RESTful API design • Problem-solving mindset and genuine curiosity about how things work under the hood • Willingness to learn the credit cards, payments, and rewards business domain • Strong written communication skills for async collaboration across time zones • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while staying connected to the team • Comfort with remote-first synchronous and asynchronous daily collaboration with fluid times • Comfort working across the full stack and willingness to learn technologies required by the problem • Exposure to Docker, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud infrastructure is a bonus • Interest in fintech, payments, or credit card infrastructure is a bonus • Experience with AI coding tools or LLM APIs is a bonus • Familiarity with high-availability systems or real-time data processing is a bonus
