📋 Description

• Execute Industrial Control Systems (ICS)/Operational Technology (OT) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) system design tasks • Configure and program SCADA/Human Machine Interface (HMI) designs and PLC systems • Participate in control system commissioning and startup processes • Participate in design reviews with clients and other BC consultants • Contribute to ICS/OT architecture design and planning evaluation procedures • Analyze and interpret P&IDs, specifications, control schematics, and control strategies • Maintain understanding of ICS/OT networking and cybersecurity requirements • Execute additional assignments based on evolving needs • Provide mentorship, guidance, support, and knowledge-sharing to less experienced team members as needed • Explain control-system best practices to client organizations

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ related work experience in Control System Integration and Design and ICS/OT systems • Proficiency in SCADA/HMI design, configuration, and programming • Competency in PLC system design, configuration, and programming • Understanding of control system commissioning and startup procedures • Understanding of ICS/OT systems, architecture design, planning evaluation protocols, networking, and cybersecurity requirements • Effective communication of facts, policies, and practices • Initiative in problem-solving situations • Typically certified in Brown and Caldwell’s Subject Matter Specialist (SMS) Framework and progressing through SMS competencies • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience • Professional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferred, or ability to obtain within 6 months • Subject to a pre-employment background check and pre-employment drug test
