• Review project-developed work plans, inspection checklists, commissioning documentation, and other quality-related documents for compliance • Assist project teams with interpreting contracts, specifications, drawings, corporate standards, and applicable codes • Provide technical guidance and quality support throughout project execution • Assist with owner, internal, third-party, and project closeout audits • Conduct field audits and observations to evaluate compliance and process effectiveness • Identify process gaps, recurring issues, quality trends, and corrective/preventive actions • Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and prevent recurrence • Recommend improvements to quality, consistency, efficiency, and project performance • Review construction methodologies, installation practices, and quality processes • Assist in developing and improving corporate quality standards, processes, procedures, and documentation • Evaluate business processes and support continuous improvement initiatives • Develop and monitor quality performance metrics and KPIs • Develop and deliver quality-related training • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Commissioning, Procurement, Safety, and Project Management • Participate in constructability reviews and lessons learned meetings • Travel to project sites, customer locations, corporate offices, and business meetings as required • Perform other duties as assigned
• Minimum 5–7 years of progressively responsible experience in construction, engineering, quality management, or a related industry • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction, or a related field; equivalent industry experience may be considered • Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, contract documents, applicable codes, and industry standards • Strong analytical, critical thinking, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to communicate effectively with craft personnel, project teams, clients, subcontractors, and executive leadership • Confidence to respectfully challenge existing processes and provide collaborative recommendations • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, Outlook, and other business software • Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities • Ability to travel nationally as required • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record • Experience in utility-scale renewable energy, electrical construction, industrial construction, power generation, or large-scale infrastructure projects preferred • Experience conducting quality audits, investigations, and root cause analysis preferred • Experience improving business processes, quality systems, procedures, or operational workflows preferred • Experience reviewing work plans, inspection plans, commissioning documentation, and construction quality documentation preferred • Experience with construction management software preferred • Professional certifications such as CQE, CQM, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, NICET, NETA, or other relevant industry credentials preferred • Dedicated home office • Ability to safely navigate active construction sites, including uneven terrain, ladders, stairs, varying weather, and required PPE • Ability to sit for extended periods while using a computer and reviewing technical documentation • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds • Ability to travel by automobile and commercial airline as required
