📋 Description

• Build, test, and maintain scalable, reliable software that supports Bumble’s Trust & Safety systems • Contribute to the development lifecycle from design through deployment and monitoring, delivering high-quality code • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to implement systems that help detect and prevent harmful behavior • Solve technical problems independently, using sound judgment and creativity to deliver effective solutions • Take ownership of your work, seeing tasks through from idea to impact while adapting with an agile mindset • Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, run operations, improve code quality, and enhance problem-solving efficiency, while applying strong human judgment and accountability • Apply responsible and thoughtful use of AI, validating outputs and ensuring solutions are accurate, fair, and aligned with user safety needs • Contribute to a team culture grounded in curiosity, respect, and continuous improvement

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires 3+ years of experience, though we welcome candidates with alternative backgrounds that demonstrate equivalent skills • Experience writing production-level software in at least one modern programming language • Ability to work independently on moderately complex problems and deliver reliable solutions • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams • Demonstrates an agile mindset, adapting to new information and following work through to completion • Comfortable using AI-powered tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Copilot) to support coding, learning, and productivity • Experience with ML-assisted development workflows and experimentation • Applies AI thoughtfully and responsibly, reviewing outputs for accuracy, bias, and relevance before use • Curious and motivated to continuously learn new technologies and improve your craft
