📋 Description

• Create new customer solutions using FirsTech’s payment processing platform • Interpret requirements from customers and product management • Create solutions within existing FirsTech development frameworks • Apply Agile development and Quality Assurance industry standards • Identify short- and long-term solutions to customer needs through logical thinking and troubleshooting • Research and experiment independently • Take initiative and ownership • Apply abstract thinking and reasoning • Apply SOLID design principles and good coding craftsmanship • Take on a leadership role within a development team • Serve as point-of-contact and subject matter expert for assigned application platforms • Analyze and recommend architectural changes to new and existing application solutions • Analyze and recommend improvements to development-team processes and procedures • Mentor junior Engineers • Report to the Vice President, Engineering

🎯 Requirements

• 4–6 years of previous experience required • Knowledge of C# programming language • Knowledge of .NET development frameworks (multiple versions) • Knowledge of Microsoft SQL (multiple versions), including database hosting and development • Knowledge of Microsoft Internet Information Services (multiple versions) • Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio (multiple versions) • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud Services • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps • Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery/Deployment • Advanced knowledge of the listed technical concepts • Ability to deliver high-quality multi-tier application solutions • Experience leading scrum teams • Experience mentoring others • Experience acting as a customer point-of-contact and technical subject matter expert • Bachelor’s Degree preferred • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Ability to collaborate within a diverse global team • Stellar customer service skills • Ability to cope with deadlines and pressure situations • Ability to mentor junior Engineers
