📋 Description

• Own the AI agent platform and help define CaptivateIQ's strategic AI vision • Partner with Product leadership and the executive team to shape the AI roadmap • Set technical vision balancing near-term product impact with long-term investment • Translate strategy into shipped capabilities that move business metrics • Lead the AI Platform team responsible for the internal agent SDK, LLM orchestration layer, and evaluation and observability infrastructure • Hire, inspire, and grow software engineers from junior to staff level • Partner with Product, Design, Customer Success, Support, Sales, and other cross-functional teams on vision, roadmaps, and strategy • Own delivery, operational excellence, and outcomes for the team's portfolio • Ensure critical systems remain performant, reliable, and secure at scale • Set architectural guardrails and guide major technical decisions • Manage engineering processes and contribute to broader engineering leadership initiatives • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours critical issue support

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing software engineers, preferably in a remote-first B2B SaaS or startup environment • 8+ years of full-time software development experience, preferably in product engineering or full stack roles • Demonstrated track record of hiring and developing talent • Strong customer focus and track record of delivering high-quality, impactful features across the full product lifecycle • Comfortable diving into complex architectural problems and guiding senior engineers toward sound decisions • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills • Ability to build trust with cross-functional partners in a remote-first environment • High ownership and a growth mindset; collaborative, humble, and comfortable in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
