📋 Description

• Provide practical work experience in healthcare administration and operations • Support diverse healthcare projects and contribute to project progress and deliverables • Work within assigned rotations and collaborate with physicians, administrators, and allied health staff • Identify and use internal and external resources to accomplish work goals • Contribute information and perspectives on current trends and issues • Develop healthcare management skills across practice, education, research, inpatient and outpatient settings, staffing, and financial operations • Lead or direct work of others in work groups or task forces • Participate in committee work and the system’s strategic planning process • Study and apply process-improvement methodologies, including data collection, analysis, group facilitation, and implementation strategies • Meet regularly with leadership to discuss the fellowship and report project progress • Assist with development of programs and services • Manage databases and input information, data, and records • Participate in developing programs, processes, or applications • Prepare information and research materials and create and maintain presentations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and current enrollment in a graduate-level Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration or Master’s Degree in Business with a focus in healthcare • Preferably enrolled in a CAHME-accredited program • Current graduate-level enrollment at a regionally accredited college or university • Grade point average of at least 2.5 • No experience required • Good written and verbal communication skills • Strong attention to detail • Demonstrated ability to successfully complete tasks • Strong teamwork skills • Effective multitasking and prioritization skills • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel • Must demonstrate integrity, maturity, dependability, a positive attitude, and enthusiasm • Must reside in one of the approved states: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, Montana, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin, West Virginia, or Wyoming
