📋 Description

• Develop, implement, optimize, and maintain access to cloud-based AI technologies for IT teams, researchers, and faculty • Deploy and debug cloud stacks • Develop and implement policies for using AI through cloud infrastructure and software services • Manage requests for new technology • Establish a secure cloud environment • Ensure appropriate availability of services • Educate teams on new cloud and AI initiatives • Ensure cloud infrastructure security • Create and maintain automation procedures • Contribute to operating procedures supporting the AI and cloud infrastructure environment • Identify optimal cloud and AI-based solutions for business needs • Maintain cloud infrastructures according to best practices and security policies • Stay current with industry trends • Participate in on-call rotation with infrastructure teams

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar field • At least three (3) years of experience in cloud computing • Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Azure • Proficiency in networking • Troubleshooting and analytical skills • Strong collaboration and communication skills • Ability to interact with a variety of customers in a professional manner • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Purdue University will not sponsor employment authorization for this position • Participation in an on-call rotation with infrastructure teams
