📋 Description

• Support the X-Ray Systems business as a Field Service Engineer • Manage customer relationships through effective technical support • Install, troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment at customer sites • Service laser printers, networks, CR and DR X-ray imaging equipment, radio fluoroscopy equipment, and other hospital equipment • Generate service revenue by offering solutions aligned with the service portfolio • Conduct proactive customer visits and provide regular communications to customers and internal stakeholders • Identify and resolve customer issues, following escalation processes when appropriate • Set clear expectations and meet customer commitments and arrival times • Participate in regional teamwork, mentoring, and process improvement • Operate in compliance with state and federal regulations and quality and safety requirements • Manage company assets, tools, test equipment, vehicles, expenditures, parts, and documentation • Complete timesheets, service work orders, expense reports, Field Change Orders, preventative maintenance, installation documents, and service documentation • Independently diagnose and resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems • Complete preventative maintenance, Field Change Orders, installations, and related tasks • Provide telephone, remote technical support, and remote diagnostics when requested

🎯 Requirements

• Associate Degree in electronics or equivalent combination of education and experience • 2+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging or 4+ years of experience in the electronics industry, preferably in a field service environment • Knowledge of computers and networking • PC competency, including Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment • Knowledge and use of necessary tools and test equipment • Ability to understand and utilize technical vocabulary • Ability to read and interpret schematics and site drawings with minimal assistance • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, self-discipline, and autonomy to work independently • Ability to adapt to changing work requirements in a complex, fast-paced environment • Ability to operate effectively in a team-driven environment and share knowledge • Exceptional customer service skills • Written and verbal communication skills • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and driving record compliant with Fleet Policy • Experience with X-Ray or complex medical devices and knowledge of Carestream equipment are desired • Must adhere to customer-required certification/credentialing for facility admission
