📋 Description

• Submit grant proposals to external sponsors on behalf of Carle Health, including new awards, renewals, continuations, supplements, and extensions • Interpret funding-agency guidelines and advise applicant departments on application requirements, terms, and conditions • Review proposal budgets and narratives and confirm institutional commitments and operational feasibility • Prepare administrative information and proposal and progress-report documents, including budget justifications, biosketches, other support, and letters of support • Maintain reports to monitor award lifecycles and grant-account financial activity • Review financial reports and analyses to support program directors with sponsored-program administration • Assist with budget revisions and award amendments • Represent Carle Health during internal and external audits with Accounting and Compliance units • Improve tracking and reporting of grant proposals and awards • Assist with grant policies, operational procedures, and training • Participate in national meetings and conferences related to grants accounting and financial administration

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field (required) • Work experience in a related field • Ability to interpret agency guidelines and regulations for federal and private sponsors • Knowledge of OMB 2 CFR 200 Uniform Guidance and grant/institution-specific requirements • Ability to develop and review proposal budgets, narratives, and supporting documents • Ability to monitor grant account financial activity and ensure compliance with policies, budgets, and agreements • Ability to assist with budget revisions and award amendments • Ability to participate in audits, national meetings, and conferences related to grants accounting and financial administration
