📋 Description

• Review FHA Part A mortgage insurance claims for accuracy within investor/insurer timeframes • Complete quality checks using scorecards and/or checklists to identify claim errors • Communicate correction requests to the claim filing team and ensure timely, accurate completion • Document systems with appropriate tasking and comments • Verify accurate dates and information on Part A claim forms • Review foreclosure and default timeframes and include applicable extensions • Enforce company procedures regarding curtailment of interest • Ensure required documentation is included in claim files • Finalize and submit claims to the agency for payment • Escalate trends and issues identified during quality reviews

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma required; some college preferred • One (1) or more years’ mortgage servicing default experience, or QA/QC experience in another line of business, or College Graduate • Moderate knowledge of default claims processes for insurers and investors • Understanding of the default servicing process, including Foreclosure, Bankruptcy, Loss Mitigation, and Claims • Moderate understanding of Agency and investor guidelines • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork and quality • Excellent written and oral communication, organizational, and time management skills • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management internally and externally • Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks under pressure and changing priorities
