• Inspect generator packages with team assistance and documentation resources • Evaluate nonconformance data in the quality management system • Initiate supplier corrective action requests for severe and recurring nonconformances • Validate supplier corrective actions • Support first article inspections as a secondary auditor • Support supplier qualification audits through documentation collection and capturing Gemba observations • Pursue continuing education in new solutions, technologies, and skills • Coordinate with the team to achieve Continuous Improvement goals and objectives • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions • Use measurement tools to verify specifications • Make effective risk assessments • Move between projects as priorities change • Coordinate multiple competing tasks and demands • Promote a positive customer experience • Perform other related duties as assigned
• Previous experience in quality engineering • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field is preferred • Certification in quality methodologies, such as Six Sigma or ASQ, is a plus • General knowledge of mechanical and electrical product designs and concepts • Data analysis experience • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills • Valid driver’s license • Excellent driving record • Willingness to travel at least 50% to various jobsites within North America, as needed • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions • Ability to use measurement tools to verify specifications • Ability to make effective risk assessments • Ability to work independently and in a team environment • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment • Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple competing tasks and demands • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to regularly stand, walk, and talk or hear • Ability to frequently sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds • Close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus
