📋 Description

• Design, implement, and support robust AWS-based infrastructure solutions for Catalight • Implement AWS infrastructure components including VPCs, subnets, and routing • Assist with hybrid connectivity using VPNs, private endpoints, and Transit Gateway • Support high availability and basic disaster recovery configurations • Provision and manage infrastructure with Terraform • Support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments • Perform basic infrastructure automation tasks • Build and run containerized applications with Docker • Support deployments in ECS or EKS environments • Assist with scaling, health checks, and basic deployment strategies • Use CloudWatch and Datadog for monitoring and alerting • Support dashboards and basic alert configurations • Assist with incident response and troubleshooting • Collaborate with engineering teams on deployments and operations • Maintain documentation and runbooks • Participate in issue resolution and team activities • Demonstrate independent discovery and leadership while mentoring other engineers • Operate self-sufficiently in complex environments to support Catalight’s mission of transforming home and community-based care

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in cloud or infrastructure engineering • Hands-on experience with AWS core services • Familiarity with Terraform or similar • Basic experience with Docker and container platforms • Understanding of networking and cloud fundamentals • Exposure to monitoring tools • Must be able to communicate effectively within the work environment and read and write using the primary workplace language • Ability to use a computer and cell phone for effective communication • Ability to obtain and maintain criminal record clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ) • Ability to obtain and maintain clearance through the Office of Inspector General • Must attend required training • Exposure to CI/CD tools, familiarity with APIs or integration patterns, security reviews and compliance requirements, and basic understanding of microservices are pluses • Strong communication, collaboration, multitasking, problem-solving, judgment, flexibility, patience, discretion, and willingness to learn and grow • Commitment to managing a remote schedule aligned with PST business hours
