• Represent Catalyst Pharmaceuticals products to medical professionals specializing in Lambert-Eaton Myasthenic Syndrome treatment • Maintain effective communication and relationships with key external and internal customers • Understand and implement the marketing plan and accurately articulate the brand value proposition • Use only on-label and Regulatory/Compliance-approved marketing materials • Analyze local and regional business and managed-market trends to build short- and long-term goals and a successful business plan • Work in a matrix environment with patient support services, specialty pharmacies, Marketing, Managed Care, Corporate Communications, and Medical Affairs • Meet targeted healthcare professionals and staff in the assigned geography for disease awareness and product promotion • Provide consultative, science-driven information to support healthcare-provider treatment decisions • Drive patient identification initiatives • Manage the territory budget in compliance with company policies • Document account profiles accurately and promptly in the CRM system • Participate in local or national patient advocacy events as required, potentially during evenings or weekends, no more than 8 times per year
• Bachelor’s degree in life science, business, or healthcare preferred • Minimum of 7+ years of pharmaceutical sales or related experience • Experience in Neurology or the Rare/Orphan space preferred • Recent biopharmaceutical launch experience within the past 3–5 years preferred • Ability to gain consistent access to healthcare providers in community and academic centers • Ability to develop strong, professional relationships for scientific exchange and promotion with healthcare providers • Experience selling a product requiring extensive coordination with patient access services • Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Strong organizational abilities • Travel within the assigned territory on a routine basis • 60% overnight travel required • Valid driver’s license issued in the United States with a clean driving record • Ability to travel on weekends to work conferences may be required • Potential candidates should reside in Baltimore, MD, Washington, DC, or Richmond, VA, and have access to airports in those locations
