📋 Description

• Design end-to-end enterprise network architecture connecting on-premises data centers, corporate offices, distribution centers, and Azure SAP RISE infrastructure • Architect Azure VNets, hub-and-spoke or Azure Virtual WAN topologies, NSGs, route tables, Azure Firewall/NVA placement, and private DNS zones • Design private connectivity using Azure ExpressRoute and/or site-to-site VPN backup • Implement SAP RISE cross-VNet and cross-tenant connectivity with SAP’s RISE delivery team • Optimize network performance for SAP GUI, Fiori, RFC/BAPI, IDoc, BW, and database replication traffic • Architect hybrid DNS resolution and secure network segmentation • Design network connectivity for SAP integration points and end-user access • Design high-availability and disaster-recovery network architectures • Develop phased network migration plans aligned with SAP RISE migration waves • Build proof-of-concept and pilot network environments • Define and execute network acceptance criteria and performance tests • Author cutover runbooks and rollback procedures • Lead network war-room activities during go-live weekends • Manage decommissioning of legacy network paths after migration • Own the network workstream, report status, and manage risks, issues, and decisions • Collaborate with SAP RISE, Azure, security, infrastructure, Basis, functional, and development teams • Coordinate vendors, carriers, ExpressRoute providers, and Azure support • Define network governance and operational standards • Drive network automation and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or another related field • 10+ years of experience in progressively senior network engineering roles • Deep expertise in networking, including cloud networking, SD-WAN, cybersecurity, and enterprise architecture • Leadership certifications or experience, such as TOGAF, ITIL, or PMP • Exceptional communication and leadership skills • Experience managing teams and building relationships with people at a variety of levels • Demonstrated ability to launch and deliver IT projects on time and within budget • Hands-on experience working in large-scale environments and improving business processes • Demonstrated ability to lead change, take calculated risks, and pursue continuous improvement • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with customers, associates, and management • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills • Strong presentation skills • Ability to establish relationships with vendors, negotiate, and manage vendors against deliverables • Solid project management skills, including deploying resources and managing multiple projects of diverse scopes in a cross-functional environment
