📋 Description

• Support electricity market analysis consulting and daily market operations • Assist with management of wholesale market generation and load clients • Coordinate settlement, scheduling, reporting, and other back-office processes • Coordinate scheduling activities and reporting for wholesale generation and load clients • Assist clients with registration and testing of resources and Market Participants in the SPP market • Coordinate with IT, SCADA, Networking, and finance teams to support resource start-up • Participate in market analysis projects focused on the SPP market and potentially other deregulated energy markets • Develop project proposals and communicate with clients or potential clients to revise, refine, or adapt proposals • Develop settlement reports, monitoring tools, and other methods to help clients maximize efficiency in electric markets • Perform business development activities to expand CES’s client base and product offerings • Work independently and as part of a team while managing multiple projects and competing priorities

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of five years experience in the deregulated electric industry • Advanced knowledge of RTO/ISO wholesale markets, specifically the SPP market • Bachelor's degree or equivalent • Experience performing project research and/or consulting services • Experience with assets and load participating in the SPP market • Strong analytical reasoning skills • Understanding of generation project financial modeling • Good written and oral communication skills • Ability to be self-directed and work well with others • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint • Preferred: advanced knowledge of SPP market rules and processes required to register and manage resources • Preferred: database software skills, specifically Microsoft SQL experience • Preferred: advanced education
