📋 Description

• Own a product area end-to-end: identify opportunities, frame problems, set design direction, and ship experiences • Design complex, multi-step product flows for multiple user types • Balance creator needs against member experience and simplify sophisticated behavior • Prototype and test rapidly using AI-assisted tools and code-generation workflows • Influence product strategy and contribute to roadmap discussions • Identify opportunities across the product • Drive interaction design, visual quality, and polished product details • Collaborate with engineers and design engineers to create shippable experiences • Raise the quality bar for the broader design team through feedback and shared frameworks

🎯 Requirements

• Strong alignment with Circle’s values • English proficiency at CEFR Level C2 / ILR Level 5 (spoken, written, and reading) • 5–7+ years of product design experience • Portfolio showing systems-level thinking, shipped 0→1 work, complex multi-user flows, and product-direction influence • Experience operating as the most senior designer on a product area • Strong prototyping skills and ability to build clickable, realistic prototypes independently • Proficiency in Figma for high-fidelity design and collaboration • Exceptional written and verbal communication • Comfort designing in ambiguity and building conviction through iteration • Active, evolving AI workflow using AI tools in the design process
