📋 Description

• Lead a team of Partner Solutions Engineers serving as the primary technical liaison between Splunk/Cisco and partners • Mature partners’ technical practices and advance them through the Cisco Partner 360 program • Build a scalable Partner Solutions Engineering function using enablement, reference architectures, and joint-solution development • Champion Cisco’s Data Fabric strategy using Data Intelligence and AI • Assess partner capabilities and gaps and design multi-quarter enablement roadmaps • Lead technical training, workshops, and labs • Develop technical playbooks, reference architectures, and demo assets for Security, Observability, Cloud, Network, and AI priorities • Collaborate with partner engineering and product teams to co-develop joint solutions • Serve as the main technical contact for strategic partners and resolve complex integration challenges • Advocate for partner requirements to internal Product and Engineering teams • Provide technical input for RFPs and support partner-led demonstrations and POCs • Document engagements, track performance metrics, and standardize enablement methodologies • Hire, coach, and develop a team of Partner Solutions Engineers • Foster technical excellence, customer-first empathy, and partner-centric growth

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree + 8+ years demonstrated ability; OR Master’s degree + 5 years • 5+ years of broad/deep technical knowledge in Security, Observability, Event, or Network Management • 3+ years of people management experience leading technical pre-sales or partner-facing engineering teams • Track record of building high-performing teams and developing talent across different career stages • Strong operational acumen, including partner capacity planning, enablement roadmaps, and measuring business impact • Understanding of Cisco Partner technical enablement and partner program requirements • Experience articulating the value of Cisco Data Fabric, AI-driven observability, and Data Intelligence to partner leadership • Experience driving technical certification programs and badge attainment within a channel or partner organization • Experience leading Partner Solutions Engineering teams within the software or technology industry • Understanding of data platforms, SIEM, observability, security operations, or related technologies • Ability to translate complex technical concepts for C-level executives and technical practitioners • Experience leading organizational change and driving adoption of new strategies, processes, and technologies
